Looking for the first step in working with scuba as a career? Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this program you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. PADI Divemaster is the prerequisite certification for both the PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications.Who Can Do It?

  • PADI Rescue Diver
At time of certification the diver must have:

  • Logged at least 60 scuba dives including experience in night diving, deep diving and underwater navigation.
  • Completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care training and agreed to the PADI Membership and License Agreements.

  • Knowledge Development Segments
  • Knowledge Reviews in the Manual or through the Divemaster Online.

  • Create an Emergency Assistance Plan for a designated dive site.
  • Water Skills Exercises.

How Long Does it Take?

There are two suggested paths to achieve Divemaster:

  1. 10 Weeks  ( 1 Evening a week) to cover the Theory Sessions and Pool Sessions. 1 Day at the Weekend each week
  2. The Intensive Course - Complete it all in 14 Days arranged to suit you
 
When and Where does it take place?

We operate our pool sessions from The Tallaght Leisure Centre
 
Our Openwater dives are done either in 'Scotsmans bay' (by Teddies) or 'Sandycove' in Dun Laoughaire. 
 
Theory Sessions from 7pm - 8pm Water Time is from 8pm - 9pm.

(For intensive courses we work out side of these times, on request to suit you, limited only by the pool availability)
