When and Where does it take place?
We operate our pool sessions atThe St Columbas College
Our Open water dives are done in 'Sandycove' in Dun Laoghrie.
Theory Sessions from 8pm - 9pm Water Time is from 9pm - 10pm
(For intensive courses we work out side of these times, on request to suit you, limited only by the pool availability)
Where do you go from here?
If you want to progress and dive to still greater depths, dive wrecks, learn underwater photography, underwater navigation, peak performance buoyancy among many more specialities to chose from you can progress to Advanced Open Water or Adventure Diver. For Any enquires Contact Us
- Five Knowledge development sessions looking at diving principles and techniques - Video and PowerPoint Presentations + Knowledge Reviews or the PADI eLearning theory.
- Five Pool Sessions - Learning a set of 20 key SCUBA skills.
- Four Open Water Dives - Demonstrating the key skills in the sea and catching your first glimpses of the underwater world.
How Long Does it Take?
There are two suggested paths to achieve your Open Water Certification:
- 4 Evenings ( 1 Evening a week) to complete the Pool Sessions. 1 full Weekend for the 4 Open water dives + Hopefully fitting in your first dive as a qualified diver!
- The Intensive Course - Complete it all in 1 Week arranged to suit you.
