The purpose of the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Speciality course is to assist all divers in polishing their buoyancy control beyond the Open Water Diver level..

The goal of PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy training is to enhance the student’s buoyancy control abilities through knowledge development and skills practice.

Who Can Do It?

Ages 14+ 
PADI Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Diver, or an equivalent rating


Whats Involved?

1 Pool Session to work on technique
2 Open water dives

What's Covered?

  • How to trim your scuba gear so you’re perfectly balanced in the water
  • Nuances in determining weight so you’re not too light nor too heavy by even a slight degree
  • How to streamline to save air and move smoothly through the water
  • How to hover effortlessly in both a vertical position and a horizontal position

How Long Does it Take?

One evening in the pool and 1 Day of a weekend for the 2 Dives
 
When and Where does it take place?

We operate our pool sessions from The Tallaght Leisure Centre

Theory Sessions from 7pm - 8pm Water Time is from 8pm - 9pm 
We meet every Thursday at 6.30pm in the cafe area.
 
Our Openwater dives are done either in 'Scotsmans bay' (by Teddies) or 'Sandycove' in Dun Laoughaire. 
 
 
Where do you go from here?

If you want to progress and dive to still greater depths, dive wrecks, learn underwater photography, underwater navigation, peak performance bouyancy amoung many more specialties to chose from you can progress to Advanced OpenWater or Adventure Diver. For Any enquires  Contact Us
