PADI Scuba Diver Certificate

The PADI Scuba Diver is the first course that leads to a diving certification.
If you expect to go scuba diving primarily in the company of a dive guide or if you have limited time to devote to scuba certification, consider becoming a PADI Scuba Diver. It requires less time than the Open Water course, covering only the first three of five sections of knowledge development, the first three of five pool sessions, and the first two of four open water training dives, resulting in a limited certification. |

PADI Adventures In Diving
The PADI Adventure Diver course helps you get more out of diving by introducing you to new types of scuba diving adventures. It’s a great opportunity to work with your instructor to build your scuba diving skills and gain more confidence.
Who Can Do It?
A PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organisation).
Minimum age: 15 years old (10 years old for PADI Junior Adventure Diver)
PADI Advanced Open water
Exploration, Excitement, Experiences. They’re what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. And no, you don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course. The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.
PADI Rescue Diver

Building upon what you’ve already learned, this course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur.The fun part about this course is rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken.

Looking for the first step in working with scuba as a career? Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this program you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. PADI Divemaster is the prerequisite certification for both the PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications
PADI Scuba Review
Has it been a while since you’ve been scuba diving? Do you feel like your scuba skills and knowledge are a bit rusty? The Scuba Review Tune-up is just the refresher you need. It reacquaints you with diving so that you’re back to feeling comfortable in the underwater world in less than a day.
Dive Orientation

The aim of Discover Local Diving is to give certified divers an introduction to unfamiliar dive sites or aquatic conditions. It can also be used to re-familiarize divers to the open water environment after a period of diving inactivity.
Discover Local Diving is an underwater guided tour which provides divers with a fun, safe, supervised Open Water experience. Upon completion of the Discover Local Diving you will receive a recognition stamp for your log book. Who Can Do It? Ages 10+ |
Snorkeling
A great family treat during the summer! Come to Sandycove and have a snorkle and see what is under the water, even swim with the seals if you wish!
The PADI Discover Snorkeling program gives you the opportunity to explore the underwater world with guidance and assistance from an experienced member of our staff. We run regular boat trips to snorkel with the seals over the summer months and we can usually offer snorkeling at some of our shore diving sites.
Emergency First Response
Emergency First Response courses encompass adult, child and infant CPR and first aid skills, and incorporate Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training and emergency oxygen use.
Emergency First Response also offers comprehensive First Aid at Work courses, specifically designed to meet national and international compliance standards for CPR and first aid courses in the workplace.
Emergency First Response courses are flexible in design to accommodate scheduling and training needs. They can be taught together or alone in any combination.
